February 28th updates

So sorry we did not update last night about yesterday. We stayed with PJ and TJ at a hotel last night. The hotel did not have wifi available so I typed up the updates in my pager. Here's the update:

Wow, today indeed was a very nice day for me especially that it was my birthday and be with Syd, Seb and Max. Today was my best birthday. Syd, Seb and Max are my greatest and most precious gifts I ever have asked for. :-)

Syd is doing very well. She started to eat 7 ml of milk this morning and did well. She will be eating 9 ml of milk tonight or early tomorrow morning (March 1st). Syd has not had bowel movement so she may need suppository (stool softner) if she does not poop by tomorrow morning.

Sebastian is not able to eat again due to levels of magnastium. The nurse says he should be able to eat again tomorrow with 1 ml. He had suppository done and he was able to have bowel movement so that is good news.

Maximillian was able to get off CPAP machine this morning but he is still on breathing tube through his nostrils. However, we are able to hold him more today. Maximillian is not able to eat yet due to his stomach not digesting milk well and high levels of magnestium as well. He should be able to start eating 1 ml of milk tmw again if his levels of magnestium goes down.

They all have lost some weight and are currently weighting at 3 pounds and something each. The nurses and doctor have reassured us that it is very normal for them to lost weight during first week and they all will start gaining weight from now on. I will be posting their exact weight tomorrow (sunday)

Great news!! All three of them are in the same side in the NICU part so they all r close to each other.

Sean and I were a little bit overwhelmed with three visitors today as we are only allowed two visitors so they had to take turns to come in NICU with us.

I wanted to thank PJ and TJ K. for taking me and Sean out for dinner for my birthday. Dinner was delicious! We ate at a local italian restaurant. Also, thank you for letting us stay with you guys at your hotel last night.

Matt, thank you for coming to visit and help us. Your help is greatly appreciated! :) hugs!!

Before I forget, I wanted to thank April G. for helping us out by packing up more stuff we needed from home. And thanks to PJ and TJ for bringing them. :)

Again before I forget, we wanted to thank our surrogate M and her family for beautiful flowers they got for us. Very beautiful and they smelled good! :)

Wow, our kiddos will be one week old tomorrow!! (Sunday). Too fast!!!
