It's Friday already! Our babies are 5 days old already! Sigh... how fast time flies. Guess we better get used to it.
This morning we visited the triplets and spent time with them. We love holding them and watching them. The way they gaze in our eyes gives us goose bumps. Sydney and Sebastian even smiled. All of them are making good progress. Sebastian and Sydney's jaundice level dropped and they no longer need the blue light (for now). Sydney was bottle fed 5 ml of milk. Max and Seb are still tube-fed.
Max is stil on C-PAP but doing better. They are hoping he may be off the C-PAP tomorrow pending on his breathing. Max is a fighter for sure! He hates the C-PAP. It breaks our hearts seeing Max like this but we know he will be breathing on his own soon. We are being optimistic. Also Sebastian & Maximillian had a PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter) put in. Poor guys!! :-( BUT, according to the nurses, it is better to have this instead of having to do IV everyday to three days where they have to move to a new area on their body (arms and feet). PICC lasts a few weeks or until they are released. Sydney will have it put in later tonite. Poor girl. :-(
Matt took us out to Cheesecake Factory to celebrate TJ's birthday which is tomorrow (Saturday). We got our cheesecake fix! Thanks Uncle Matty! ;-)
PJ and his partner, TJ, arrived tonight from Phoenix. They were excited to meet the trio. They were in awe and surprised at how tiny they are. They both had the opportunity to hold Sydney and Sebastian. We also got some gifts from our wonderful friends back in Phoenix. Thank you all! Hugs.
On a final note - tomorrow is TJ's birthday! If you have the chance to - be sure to send him a holler and wish him a Happy birthday! Having the triplets before his birthday indeed is the best gift he can get! Don't you all agree? ;-)
Stay tuned for more updates and pictures coming your way. Hugs to you all.

Happy BIRTHDAAAAAYYYYYYYyyyyyyy to you, Daddie TJ! Hmm... That makes me wonder... You both are Daddies and you both can't have same name so what will you have the kids call you?
ReplyDelete:-) We are still discussing about this. For me, I think I should be Daddy and Sean should be Papi :-) But we have not decided yet. Any ideas?!? :-)
