Hey all,
Today was supposed to be 34 weeks for us! :-) Our babies are ten days old today. They are doing very well. They were moved over to the "graduates" NICU since NICU is FULL once again. But I believe they will be staying in the "graduates" unit until they are released. As of when they will be released, they could be released as early as March 15th as informed. But they warned us they could stay longer. It all depends on their progress!!
Max is sure gaining weight fast and getting fatter!! At least on his cheeks and neck. LOL! So cute.. Max no longer has a feeding tube inserted in his nostrils. Max has exceeded our expectations and is doing very well. The nurses suspect Max may be the first one to be released! WOW! He has fought HARD. We seriously thought Sydney would be the first one to be released; however, she still struggles with drinking more than 4 to 6 ml of milk by bottle so she needs to keep feeding tube to be fed. As for Sebastian, he is a SLOW eater and will only drink some milk so rest of milk is fed through his feeding tube. All three continue to gain more weight.
Sydney is suspected to have heart murmur and had a heart ultrasound today. The results will come in tomorrow. However, it is believed that it is not a serious condition at this point. Max and Sydney have been detected with slight heart murmurs.
Our surrogate M came to visit us and we enjoyed her company. It was so good to see her. She LOOKS great!!! You would not even think she was pregnant with triplets just ten days ago!! :-)
Wendy and Laura invited us to attend a candle vigil for ANTI-Prop 8 - We were very amazed of how many people were there - The hearing to repeal Prop 8 begins tomorrow -Let's hope Prop 8 gets overturned!! Thank you, Wendy and Laura, for a GREAT time! We enjoyed ourselves.
We will be posting some pictures of our trio and the candle vigil soon.
We five love you all! OXOX

Sean and TJ (and the amazing trio) -
ReplyDeleteI had goosebumps while catching up on the posts you've made so far. The babies sound like they are doing wonderful, especially for being born so early!!! Before you know it, all five of you will be home and it will be fun chaos :).
I never knew it was recommended that babies younger than 1 year old should not fly - both of my boys flew around 4 months old without any problems...
*hugs* to you five and I can't wait to read the posts and they come along :)
